Forgive our selfish ways. We realize we can arrive at a sense of overwhelm because fear, confusion and doubt are always fighting to ‘take the wheel’ and steer our heart and spirit away from You. From this pit we cry out seeking human answers, but ugh, this is not Your promise to us therefore, we declare now and ask for Your tangible presence for You ARE with us! Let not our ‘self’ block us any longer from seeing, hearing and knowing You more.

You are our all. You are who we are clinging to. Let us remember Your past gifts to us of felt closeness. Let us remember Your miracles. We choose to love and trust You no matter our circumstances. We trust You because we are in Your perfect cleft even when we feel like we are sitting naked, in the middle of the desert, completely exposed to all. We still praise You.

Thank you for another day. May we exist today in You and through You. May we exude true peace and the assurance that You are our God and there is no other like You who works FOR those who wait upon You. We are walking the narrow path which You have set us on and we are seeking to experience Your joy.

Father, let Your hand upon us be heavy enough to allow others to see You in us. We choose to die to our ways and surrender completely to Yours. We are Your instructed ones, may we stay awakened enough to be taught yet again.
