Goodness! I always have p l e n t y of words, my husband and kids will vouch for that, but here I sit, needing to define myself...and I’m wordless.
Here is what I know, that I know, that I know: Everyday I purpose and choose to remember that I am lavishly loved by my creator and maker. Knowing and believing this, has had to be enough for many of my days. I then, intentionally, minute to minute, attempt to make decisions out of this truth (with plenty of snaaafoo's). I do have other days, extra special days, in which I am given reminders that I am loved also by family and friends. This extra lovin’ is what I call "icing." Icing filled days are ever so special to me, and do not pass unnoticed.
Since I know that I, Kara Joy, am deeply loved, I then have today, to share love. My hope is that this love, that I have the opportunity to give, is as pure a love as possible.
Beyond that, I am a granddaughter, daughter, sister, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, friend, neighbor, teacher of three, chef de la casa, cleaner extraordinaire...
I am a lover of Jesus, learning, being outside, birds, exploring all lands (those local and far away), music, reading, my one cuppa' coffee, all sorts of tea, pictures, paper, pens, pencils, journaling, all our four legged friends...
Oh and... being still, being able to move, deep breathes, breezes, the brilliant sun, giggles, smiles and "these," the super special moments and memories made with all those whom I love!
