The essay took two months to write. The contest rules had stated that it needed to be no more than 1,000 words and post-marked by October 1, 2015. The winner, would then be announced, on November 26th, Thanksgiving Day of 2015. After I had finished writing, still for my eyes only, I was pondering the gift of having actually taken the time to compose this essay. It was very therapeutic to share with concise words, some of what our flock’s heart was beating after. I decided, that at this point, it was good enough, to have written it. I didn’t actually need to mail it in. But God... caught my attention, while I was on a jog.
The Last 65 Day Pause, part 1
If I were to pull from my journals all that this 65 day pause held, you’d be here reading for a really long while. Even in this attempt to abridge those days, you will read for an average of four minutes each day, over the next 13 days. My sharing of this marking time, is part of our flocks “light shining from the hilltop. It will no longer be hidden.” I know you hear this Jesus <3 to God our Father be ALL the Glory.
